Cafe au Lait Dahlia tuber

This one is a popular show stopper for good reason. Large dinnerplate 8"-10" bloom size. The color can vary depending on weather but it is mostly creamy tan with blush colors at times. We recommend staking all dahlia, especially these taller, big--blossomed types. Grows at least 3'-4' tall. It is recommended to dig up in the fall and store the tubers overwinter indoors because they are not usually hardy in Iowa.

This is sold as one tuber, not as a potted plant. Keep tuber in a cool place until ready to plant. Plant directly in the ground in a sunny location with well-draining soil at around 5" deep after threat of frost is past. Or you can plant in a pot immediately and then transplant in the ground when ready.
