Copper Boy owns a very unique color which is hard to describe- tones of muted rust and milk chocolate. This is considered a small ball type with 3" tightly packed petals. Great for cutting. 3 feet tall.
It is recommended to dig up in the fall and store the tubers overwinter indoors because they are not usually hardy in Iowa.
For local pick up only in May
This is sold as one tuber, not as a potted plant. Keep tuber in a cool place until ready to plant. Plant directly in the ground in a sunny location with well-draining soil at around 5" deep after threat of frost is past. Or you can plant in a pot immediately and then transplant in the ground when ready.
